The annual Carol Competition is one of the main components of the Society’s Educational Outreach Programme. This project encourages composing and performing through the music departments in local schools as part of the curriculum or for individual or joint work at home.

The Competition started in 1998 and is divided into Junior and Senior sections.
We have an enthusiastic response each year and have been fortunate in being able to present our winners with outstanding prizes donated by orchestras and organizations of national and international renown.
