SWCS is always interested in new singers who are welcome to attend rehearsals before arranging an audition with Janet Wheeler.
We are fortunate to have in the choir a number of accomplished voices but we are pleased to welcome less experienced singers and to encourage them to develop their musical skills.
Auditions are straightforward and singer-friendly.
Re-auditioning of members takes place every three years or so.
Rehearsals are usually on Mondays, 7.30 to 9.45pm, with some Thursday evenings, 7.45 to 10.00pm, and are held at:

Saffron Walden County High School
Audley End Road
Saffron Walden.

We hope that members will enjoy playing a part in the life of the choir whenever possible. Large and small jobs like moving chairs, selling tickets, helping on concert days, fund raising and making interval refreshments all combine to make things run smoothly. A commitment to regular attendance at rehearsals is required.
