2007/2008 is the Society's 125th Birthday Season

Our opening concert (10 November 2007) was Beethoven's Missa Solemnis.

The Spirit of Christmas concerts (8 December 2007) are a firmly established tradition
when young singers from local schools
can perform on their own and with the Choral Society.

In the Spring (8 March 2008) we presented
Bruckner's Mass in E minor & Stravinsky's Mass.

Our 125th Birthday Concert will be on 14 June 2008
(repeated on 28 June 2008 in Stansted Mountfitchet)
It comprises many favourite pieces, ending with a Proms-style finale.

This season our Singing Day (2 February 2008) was with JAMES DAVEY.
